February is a time to celebrate the people that you care about, and who better to show you how to celebrate than a troll!
After story time, we created our own troll puppets to sing a few favorite songs together. Baby Shark was the biggest hit!

Lunar New Year is one of the biggest celebrations in China and who better than to share this with than Mulan herself. 
We learned how to say Happy New Years and Thank you in Chinese. Together we decorated a dragon and had our very own dragon parade!

​Today I helped the kids learn about different tools used to make everyone's favorite Holiday treats: COOKIES!! We used the cookie cutters as stencils and had a blast decorating our new creations. With the help of a few classic tales we learned that the love of cooking spans every holiday.
